ESTABLISHED IN 1978 BY HARTLEY SEAY AND HIS SONS GRAHAM AND BRUCE, SEAY EARTHMOVERS LTD NOW RUN ONE OF THE LARGEST FLEETS OF MODERN CATERPILLAR MACHINERY IN THE CENTRAL NORTH ISLAND.
Early projects took the company from its base in Auckland to many locations around the North Island including; Taumaranui, Te Kuiti, Wairoa, Waipukurau and finally to Taupo where the company has been based for the past 25 years. Our office is situated at Taupo Scoria Ltd quarry which was purchased by Graham and Bruce in 2004 with the vision to supply high quality roading and drainage aggregates to the local area and beyond.

With a Background in civil engineering, Graham has extensive experience in the civil and earthmoving industries and has been actively involved on all of the Company's projects over its 30 years. His “Hands on approach” to the business means he has developed a vast knowledge and understanding in all aspects of the construction industry from subdivision works through to hydro electric and geothermal projects. Graham has daily communications with both his staff and clients to maintain the highest level of service and actively involves himself in the Health & Safety and Environmental issues that are of high importance in the industry today. - Bruce Seay

Bruce started out in the industry as a machine operator and in his early years spent time working on the large equipment operated in the open pit mines of Western Australia, building extensive knowledge and a high level of skill on many of the machines operated by the company today. Like Graham, Bruce has been involved on many of the company’s projects over the years and shares the firms philosophy of maintaining strong relationships with clients and staff. Bruce’s awareness of industry trends and implementing the technological advancements available in the modern machinery today has kept the company on the leading edge, which Bruce sees as a major importance in delivering the service required in today’s market place. - Dave Morgan
